In this talk, we explore dynamical complexity through periodic and horseshoe-like structures, highlighting their connections to entropy and hyperbolicity. The presentation is based on a series of joint works with Xinyu Bai, Wen Huang, Zeng Lian, Xue Liu, Leiye Xu and Hang Zhao.
